Agendas for the Week of May 9, 2005:

English 11:  Periods 3, 4-6, 7-9

5/9 Monday:  Observing Beauty worksheet due; Journal.  Finish reading Blake poetry.  Fine Art Transparency.  HW:  One Blake worksheet will be
collected tomorrow for 20 points.  You do not know which one, so make sure all are complete.

5/10 Tuesday:  Journal.  Collect one Blake worksheet. Introduce William Wordsworth.  Begin Wordsworth poetry.  HW:  Finish worksheets for
Wordsworth poems read in class.

5/11 Wednesday:  SAT Worksheet.  Finish reading Wordsworth poems and work on worksheets in groups.  Introduce Coleridge.  HW:  One
Wordsworth worksheet will be collected tomorrow for 20 points.  You do not know which one, so make sure all are complete.

5/12 Thursday:  Journal.  Begin reading Rime of the Ancient Mariner.  HW:  Coleridge worksheets - make sure they are up to date.

5/13 Friday:  Journal.  Finish reading Rime.  HW:  Entire Coleridge packet will be collected Monday for 50 points.

English 11 Honors:  Period 1:   

5/9 Monday:  Finish reading Portrait Chapter 1.  HW:  Finish Chapter 1 worksheets; Pride & Prejudice reading/essay due Tuesday, 5/31.

5/10 Tuesday:  Begin reading, discussing & analyzing Portrait Chapter 2.  HW:  Pride & Prejudice reading/essay due Tuesday, 5/31.

5/11Wednesday:  Continue reading Portrait Chapter 2  HW:  Finish reading Chapter 2 & worksheets tonight.   Pride & Prejudice reading/essay due
Tuesday, 5/31.

5/12 Thursday:  Begin reading Chapter 3 of Portrait.  HW:  Pride & Prejudice reading/essay due Tuesday, 5/31.

5/13 Friday: Continue reading chapter 3 of Portrait.  HW:  Finish reading chapter 3 & chapter 3 worksheets - due Monday and will be checked for
accuracy and points.  Pride & Prejudice reading/essay due Tuesday, 5/31.

Public Speaking:   

Presentations of "How To Speeches according to schedule distributed in class (Monday:  AP, Tuesday:  BC, Wednesday:  MS, Thursday:  KC,
Friday:  EZ, TM).  You must present on assigned day or you get a zero.  Bring props to Ocone's classroom in the morning.  Good luck!
